One of the tools to fight coronavirus is to increase immunity. Because, the higher the immunity, the better the disease will be able to fight. For this reason, at this time, adults, as well as children, should also keep an eye on increasing immunity.

What are the effective ways to increase the immunity of children?

Many foods are very effective in boosting children's immunity. Every parent should feed them more fruits and vegetables. It is especially important to feed children regular foods rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. 


Foods that can be eaten to boost children's immunity -


Breast milk: 

In the case of a very young baby, it is an essential ingredient in breast milk. Babies get the nutrients they need from breastfeeding, so there is no substitute for breast milk. Also, if you can eat other foods according to your age, you can eat cooked vegetables, fish, etc.


Turmeric: 

Turmeric helps keep the body's immune system active. It helps to strengthen the immune system, as it kills bacteria, viruses,  fungi. The anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties of turmeric help to increase the child's immunity. Feed the baby a little turmeric mixed with milk before going to bed. Again in the morning, you can eat a little bit of raw turmeric with half a teaspoon of honey.


Yogurt: 

Eating yogurt reduces stomach problems in children. Because yogurt contains probiotics, it helps to destroy the bad bacteria in the body. At the same time, it increases the immunity of the baby. So feed yogurt to children after regular meals.


Eggs: 

Eggs are rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins which help to keep the body healthy and increase immunity. So feed the children eggs regularly.


Green vegetables: 

Many children do not like to eat green vegetables. But to keep them healthy at this time and to strengthen the immune system, it is necessary to put some vegetables in the daily food list. Especially cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, fenugreek, etc. is better.


Almonds: 

Almonds contain some ingredients that help to meet many needs of the baby's body. Include dates, pistachios, cashews, walnuts, etc. in your daily diet. These help to increase the immunity of children. However, children under the age of five should refrain from giving whole nuts. Instead, you can feed them a little bit of almond powder.


Garlic: 

The antiviral and antibacterial ingredients in garlic help the body to produce white blood cells.


Salmon: 

Salmon is a fish that plays an effective role in boosting the immune system of children. It contains omega-3 rich fatty acids which help in brain development and vision.


Fruits: 

It is very important to eat fruits to stay healthy and strong. Feed the children as well as eat the fruit yourself. The resulting essential nutrients help to increase immunity and meet other needs. Children can eat various berries, apples, oranges, watermelons, grapes, pomegranates, peaches, etc. Children under the age of five can be fed fruit juice. However, it is not right to give them these foods in the first year of life.
